Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Alumni Association Swears In National Executives

The Rector of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, Dr. Mohammed Kabir Abdullahi, has charged the newly elected National Executives of the Alumni Association to work towards promoting the growth and development of the institute.

He gave this charge shortly after the swearing-in of the first elected National Executives of the Alumni Association at the Main Campus of the Polytechnic on Thursday.

Dr. Abdullahi said the role of alumni in an institution is vital, as it provides opportunities for the socio-economic development of the Polytechnic.

The Rector assured the Alumni Executives that the management of the Polytechnic will work closely with the Alumni.

He reaffirmed his desire to see the Alumni excel through meaningful development and academic support.

In his acceptance speech, the National President of the Association, Comrade Ahmed Sabo, said his leadership will strengthen partnerships with the management and the Alumni community.

He outlined plans for infrastructure development, including renovating and constructing modern facilities to support students' learning and development.

According to him, the Alumni will establish a scholarship scheme to support indigent students.

The National President also said that partnerships and engagements will foster opportunities for students and alumni.

The swearing-in ceremony had the blessing of the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, and was attended by the top management of the Polytechnic and well-wishers.
