In his remarks, the Commissioner of Budget and Planning, Ahmed Monrovia**, addressed the fiscal challenges facing Kaduna South, noting that it is among the local governments receiving the least statutory allocation. He advised the chairman to manage resources judiciously and expressed confidence that, despite the constraints, he would lead with vision and prudence if he took the advices given to him for the greater good of the area.
The Zonal Commanding Officer of FRSC Zone One, Assistant Corps Marshal Umar Ahmed Yeldu, prayed for divine strength and determination for the new chairman. He encouraged him to maintain his focus and dedication in service, with the hope that his leadership will lead to even greater responsibilities in the future.
Stakeholders also contributed their well-wishes. An entrepreneur, Kabir Yunusa Shema praised the chairman’s dedication and philanthropic work in the community prior to his election.
Shema urged the chairman to fulfill his promises, stressing the importance of delivering on his responsibilities for the benefit of Kaduna South’s residents. On his part, Kabir Abubakar Pakie, a close friend, reminded the new chairman that leadership is a service entrusted by God and advised him to uphold honesty and integrity to create a lasting legacy.
