NSCF Warns Detractors Threatening Peace In North-West To Desist, ...Hails Matawalle

The Arewa Stakeholders Consultative Forum (NSCF) has commended Minister of State for Defence Bello Mohammed Matawalle for his bold decision to relocate to Sokoto for the second time despite speculations from unnecessary detractors.

While the group applauded Matawalle's commitment to the peace and security of the region, it warmed detractors to stay  clear and allow him to work on accordance to the renewed agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to a statement issued by the convener of the forum Comrade Danjuma Paul, it is important to note that detractors who are planning protests on the 10th October will not go unnoticed and therefore warned that any actions taken to disrupt the peace and security of the region will be met with swift resistance and decisive action.

"Those who plan to protest should be aware that their sinister motives will not be tolerated, and they should be prepared to face the consequences of their actions.

"Matawalle's operations in the North-West despite strong animosity, have been successful in the liquidation of notorious bandit leaders like Halilu Sububu and many others. These achievements have brought a sense of peace and security to the region, and it is important for the federal government and Matawalle to continue their efforts to ensure that this peace is maintained".

The NSCF encouraged Matawalle and the federal government not to relent in their efforts to ensure the return of peace in the region, stressing that the progress that has been made so far is commendable, but that there is still work to be done to fully stabilize the region and ensure the safety and security of all residents.

NSCF further maintained that Matawalle's dedication to the security of the North-West is evident in his decision to relocate to Sokoto for the second time which shows his commitment to the region and his willingness to put the needs of the people above his own comfort. "Such leadership is rare and should be celebrated and supported by all stakeholders in the region.

"The successes achieved by Matawalle's operations in the North-West are a testament to his leadership and determination and must not be undermined by any person or group. By eliminating notorious bandit leaders and restoring peace and security to the region, Matawalle has shown that he is capable of delivering tangible results in the fight against insecurity.

"The NSCF stands behind Matawalle and the federal government in their efforts to bring peace and security to the North-West. It is important for all stakeholders to support these efforts and work together towards a common goal of a stable and secure region for all residents.

"We urge detractors who are planning protests on the 10th October to reconsider their actions and think about the consequences of their actions. Disrupting the peace and security of the region will only harm the residents and hinder the progress that has been made so far in the fight against insecurity".

The NSCF commended Matawalle for his unwavering dedication to the peace and security of the North-West. "His actions deserve recognition and support, and we encourage him and the federal government to continue their efforts to ensure the return of peace in the region. Together, we can achieve a secure and stable North-West for all residents".
