The President of the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, (AYCF) Shettima Yerima, extended his warm congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, for receiving a prestigious award, 'Ezi Enyi Ndigbo' from the Igbo Community in Kaduna. The award was presented during the Igbo Community Cultural Day celebration, held at the Nigeria Correctional College in Barnawa, Kaduna State.
Yerima expressed his admiration for Governor Sani, highlighting their long-standing relationship that dates back to the early days of their struggle for the entrenchment of democracy in Nigeria. "I want to congratulate the governor who has been my leader since the days of struggle for the entrenchment of democracy in Nigeria. He has been a mentor to many of us who were then their juniors in the campaign for democracy," Yerima stated.
The President of the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum said that the award was well-deserved, reflecting the significant achievements of Governor Sani's administration.
Yerima also noted that the governor's efforts in the provision and upgrading of rural infrastructure have been remarkable, contributing to the overall development of Kaduna State. "The AYCF leader described the governor's award as well-deserved, which underscores the giant strides his administration is making in the provision and upgrading of rural infrastructure in the state."
Shettima Yerima praised the governor's dedication to promoting harmony and understanding, which has been instrumental in maintaining peace in the state. "The governor is known as a bridge builder, and that has promoted sustainable peace in Kaduna," Yerima added.
The Igbo Community Cultural Day event was a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo people in Kaduna.
