The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Plateau State Chapter has issued a press statement to clarify the eligibility of party members contesting the October 2024 Local Government Election.
The party stated that members who purchased nomination forms but whose names are not in the Membership Revalidation Register are still entitled to contest the election, provided they are bonafide members of the party.
According to a statement, signed by Alh. Mairake Yaro, Acting Publicity Secretary, aims to ensure a smooth and inclusive electoral process within the party.
The PDP warned party stakeholders, Local Government Area executives, and Ward Executive Committees against denying any party member the opportunity to contest the election based on their names not being in the Membership Revalidation Register.
