Hon. (Engr) Fom Dalyop Chollom, representing the Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, has begun constructing a standard six-classroom block at Saint Joseph Primary School in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area.

The project, expected to be completed within four weeks, aims to revitalize the school's infrastructure and provide a conducive learning environment for students.

Hon. Chollom, an alumnus of the school, emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards and quality throughout the project.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, he urged the school's management and community members to ensure the contractor adheres to specified standards.

Hon. Chollom also instructed the contractor to employ local youth as laborers, providing employment opportunities and fostering community involvement.

This initiative reflects Hon. Chollom's commitment to enhancing educational facilities within his constituency, ensuring students have access to a better learning environment.

The project marks a significant intervention in the school's infrastructure, following years of neglect since the last government intervention in 2019.
