"Chief Imam of Tantatu Calls for Unity and Peace in Kajuru Emirate

The Chief Imam of Tantatu in Kajuru Local Government Area, Mallam Haruna Muhammad Imam, has urged the people of Kajuru emirate to embrace each other and continue to live in peace. He made this call while addressing indigene of Tantatu who paid him a Sallah homage.

Imam Haruna Muhammad expressed his joy and impressment with the diverse group of indigene who visited him, comprising Muslims and Christians. 

He commended the return of peace in the town after several attacks by armed bandits and thanked Almighty Allah for his mercy.

The Imam advised the people of Tantatu to maintain their good relationship and visitation despite their religious and ethnic differences, ensuring peace continues to reign in the area.

Vice Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Council, Mr. Daniel Haruna Wambai, who was among the visiting indigene, emphasized the importance of brotherliness, relationship, and peace among the people of Tantatu. 

He thanked God for the opportunity to unite despite their differences and for the return of peace in the area.

Mr. Joshua Yaroson, Chairman of Youths Kajuru Station Connect for Peace and Unity, urged youths to unite and be good ambassadors of Tantatu, promoting the development of the area. 

He appealed to the government to increase security personnel in the area and urged those who left the town due to attacks to return home.

Pastor Jonathan Remond called on both Muslims and Christians to put aside their religious differences and support the development of Tantatu community. 

He appreciated the support of both the Kaduna and federal governments in providing security to Tantatu and other parts of Kajuru Local Government Area."
